Sony Ericsson Z750a is a multimedia fashion phone that comes with minimalist design and offers several midrange features which include Bluetooth, megapixal camera, high-speed modem and other functionalities.

Measuring 3.8 x 1.9 x 0.8 inches and weighs 3.9 ounces, this rounded flip phone is a bit bulky, though not excessively so. It comes with a mirrored front surface in several colors: silver, purple or pink and it is bright and shiny, easily with fingerprints over it.

When flipped open the Sony Ericsson Z750a, it presents an excellent internal LCD display. The 2.2-inch high-resolution LCD, measuring 320 by 240 pixels and supports 262k colors, is quiet nice and comfortable to view and look at, but, the display might get a bit difficult to view when it is under direct sunlight.

As similar to other flip phone, Sony Ericsson Z750a’s has an external display that shows the time, battery life, signal strength, and number caller ID. If you compare with the phone overall size, the text and display look small and it also don’t show photo caller ID or work as a viewfinder for the camera lens.

The Z750a cell phone has one of the best keypads, with an excellent array of large number buttons that are handy for dialing and texting. Navigation array is also well-designed. The four-way toggle is large, tactile and surrounded by a brightly backlit pink ring. It is very useful especially when you are in a dim or dark environment as you will have no problem locating it.

The Sony Ericsson Z750a comes with a 1,000-contact phone book with each entry capable of storing seven phone numbers, an e-mail, a Web address, two street addresses, a birthday, and notes. As like most functionality in other model, you can categorize called into different groups and personalize it with different ringtone. You are able to pair photo to caller as well, but, with its display limitation, it won’t show up on the external display.

The entertainment feature of the Z750a is good as well. It has a comparable music player that supports MP3 and AAC files and offers features such as shuffle and loop modes, stereo widening, and an equalizer. It also supports podcasts and audiobooks as well and on top of it, Z750a also comes with an FM radio. Transferring of music between the PC and the mobile phone can be done easily with the USB cable provided in the packing.

The 2-megapixel camera of the Sony Ericsson Z750a is unimpressive. It has options such as quality settings, white-balance and brightness adjustments, color effects, digital zoom, self-timer and four shutter sounds, but, overall, the quality is not excellent. The Z750a comes with PhotoDJ and VideoDJ applications which allow you to connect the phone directly to a photo printer for printing.

The Z750a is a very good all-around media phone with some terrific PC connectivity features and it has a rated battery life of 9 hours talk time and 16.6 days standby time.
