Sony Ericsson K800i
Sony Ericsson K800i is part of the family series of Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot cell phone. It comes with an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, built-in xenon flash, image and video stabilizer function and Sony Ericsson’s own BestPic imaging technology.
The K800i are able to take good quality photo shots even in the dark with the assistance of the built-in xenon flash unit which gives you real photographic light where lighting conditions are not optimal. It also help to eliminate red eye and the stabilizer function will minimize any effect on the photo when your hand shake or move during taking a picture and shooting video. The BestPic feature will allow you to capture several images in quick succession with one press of the camera key and all you need to do is to select the best of the lots and delete the rest.
The music player of the Sony Ericsson K800i functions allows you to organize music by artist, track name or playlist and you can choose from settings that include album, song shuffle and loop, stereo widening, and an equalizer. The music will fade out automatically when you get a call or incoming texts and will continue from where the song left off once the call is finished. You can minimize the player’s interface and there is a nice feature of airplane mode which allows you to listen to your tunes in flight with the cell phone turned off. The cell phone comes with 64MB internal memory which is clearly insufficient for music lovers; you will need to get an additional memory stick micro so that you can store large amount of songs.
The K800i supports infrared, Bluetooth connectivity and it is relatively easy for you to send pictures or files to and fro from the computer or other devices that support both infrared and Bluetooth. At the same times, you can connect to the internet through 3G for web browsing. The games comes with this model include the FotoQuest Fishing, Mini Golf: Castle and Tennis Multiplay.
The Sony Ericsson K800i comes with several different types of themes, ringtones, wallpaper and screensavers that you can customized to your preference. If those are not enough, you can always make purchase online via the WAP 2.0 wireless web browser. If you are keen on making your own ring tones, there is a Music DJ application that comes with it which allow you to compose your own ringtone.
Sony Ericsson K800i has a talk time of seven hours and standby time of 14 days.
