How To Unlock Sony Ericsson Phones
In some countries, some GSM service provider will lock the Sony Ericsson cell phones which they sell to consumer to ensure that the consumer won’t use them with other carriers.
That means if you insert a SIM card from a different service provider into the Sony Ericsson phone, the handset will give you a message telling you that the phone is locked and ask you to enter some code to unlock it; and until you are able to unlock the phone, the Sony Ericsson cell phones that you paid for cannot be used with a different service provider. With the IEMI number, the program will be able to generate a list of possible codes that may be able to unlock the phone.
Take note that this software does not support all cell phones model and the code generated might not work on your cell phone as well. Also, most Sony Ericsson phones allow you to try a maximum of 5 attempts and if all attempt failed, the phone will be locked permanently.

Some works by requesting you to download and install the unlock program. Then, with the phone cable connecting to your Sony Ericsson cell phone and the PC, the program will sent your phone unique information back to the website and within 24 hours, it will then download the unlock code back to your phone.
Some will require you to send in your phone to them and within 24 hours, they will unlock it and mail back to you.
