Sony Ericsson W302 Unveiled

Sony Ericsson W302, the new Walkman phone was announced today, 22 July 2008.

The new Sony Ericsson W302 cell phone weigh 78 grams and measure 100 x 46 x 10.5mm. It comes with a 176×220-pixel resolution screen, 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, 20MB of internal memory expandable with 512MB Memory Stick Micro M2 cards, FM radio and TrackID.

The W302 allows users to discover and experience music on the go. Play songs randomly or create your own playlists and listen to them anywhere, whether it’s on the bus, walking to work or at college. Listen the radio on the go and if you’re not sure who the artist is, the W302 has TrackID music recognition which will give you all the answers. Use the two megapixel camera to send picture messages to your friends and upload images to your W302 blog site using the picture blogging function.

Easy to carry and with no complicated set-up required the MPS-100 portable speakers are the easiest way to share your favourite tunes with others. Just separate the two speakers plug them into your music mobile phone and you are ready to be the king or queen of the party and dance to your heart’s content.

The Sony Ericsson W302 support the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 network and will be available in selected markets from Q4 2008.

It was rumored that the new Sony Ericsson W302, codenamed Feng, will be announced on 22 July 2008 by the company.

Sony Ericsson W302 is a Walkman phone version of the S302 model and it comes with only low to mid-end features. The new SE W302 will comes with a slim candybar in line with the S302. The features include a 176 x 220 pixel display and a 2 Megapixel camera with fixed focus and video recording and it runs on the A200 software platform. Nickname the Sony Ericsson Patty, this phone maintains Sony Ericsson’s standard button configuration.

So far, there is still no real word on when the official announcement and release date of the Sony Ericsson W302 phone.
